UCL has maintained fourth place - its highest ever position - in the annual QS World University Rankings, published today.
The university is second among UK universities, placing it second behind
the University of Cambridge, and ahead of the University of Oxford and Imperial College London.
Welcoming the news, Professor Malcolm Grant, UCL President and Provost,
said: "We do not, of course, claim that the methodology is rigorous,
but this result nonetheless captures very accurately the enormous
strength of this great institution."
