Making Your Way in Innovation & Enterprise at UCL
Learn how innovation and enterprise activity (also known as ‘knowledge exchange’) can help you achieve your goals, such as generating income, creating research impact, and gaining access to information (data, people, places).
This session covers the UCL ecosystem that supports innovation and enterprise, in areas such as partnerships, consulting, licensing your IP, starting up a company or involving students in entrepreneurship. You’ll also learn about funding support and the common pathways for innovation and enterprise. This session is suitable for academics at all levels as well as early career researchers.
Although not intended for PhD students, where students are heavily involve with academic faculty research, it may be appropriate. PhD students can benefit from UCL’s Entrepreneurship training for PhD and doctoral students: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/enterprise/students/develop-your-entrepreneurial-skills/entrepreneurship-training-phd-and-doctoral-students
