On the occasion of a UCL-France workshop on climate change looking at innovative Cryosphere Earth observation Satellites-ICES, the UCL Space Domain and the French Embassy in London are sponsoring a Public Lecture open to all.
Dr Anny Cazenave, IPCC member, member of the French Academy of Sciences, Foreign member of the US National Academy of Sciences and Indian Academy of Sciences, will speak on: “Climate change and sea level rise monitored from space”
Prof Andrew Shepherd, University of Leeds, Director of the Centre for Polar Observation and Modelling- CPOM (NERC) will speak on: “Earth’s ice loss from space: 30 trillion tons and counting”
