With an emphasis on experiential learning, innovation, enterprise and the wider regulatory environmentour MSc programmes launched in September 2023 span nanoscale manufacturing, stem cell and gene therapy, chemical sustainability and nature-inspired engineering, as well as leveraging wider UCL research strengths in ‘big data’ analytics, artificial Intelligence, process monitoring and control technologies, and multi-scale modelling.

The UCL Manufacturing Futures Lab (MFL) focuses on knowledge-based and digitally-enabled manufacturing, using technologies such as 3D printing, synthetic biology and biocatalysis, and intensified processing and will drive solutions in a range of critical sectors, from healthcare and energy, to electronics and engineering.
