UCL Estates Service Request Form (for staff only)

The Service Request Form is the most effective way for UCL staff to raise a maintenance or service request for UCL Estates and should be used for all requests except those requiring an emergency response. Students, visitors and honorary staff should contact the Customer Services Centre by emailing efdservices@ucl.ac.uk. Maintenance issues relating to Student Accommodation will need to be reported directly to the Residence Warden.

This short form enables you to supply accurate details of the UCL location where your request is to be undertaken and encourages the provision of any other relevant information which may help the UCL Customer Services Centre coordinate the most appropriate response to your request.

You will receive a unique job reference number, attendance detail based on our priorities when the job is created and a notification email when the job is recorded as complete.

We will process all service requests within 24 working hours of receipt and proactively report any issues or delays which may adversely affect your completion date. Should you have any queries or problems with the Service Request Form you can email us at efdservices@ucl.ac.uk.

What we need from you:

  • Please provide as much information as you can when submitting requests, especially if they concern health and safety, adapted facilities or teaching spaces.

  • Please avoid using the telephone when you can use the form or email. Our phone lines are for emergency responses and calls of a general nature will slow our service down as we have to input your information ourselves. However, if the call is an emergency our extension is 30000 (020 7679 0000 for emergency requests outside the Bloomsbury campus).
