New #MadeAtUCL podcast - episode 7
For this final episode of Series 1, we’re looking at how UCL research is helping to level out various playing fields.
- We’ll hear how legal experts are helping people to get the support they are entitled to,
- share thoughts with London’s commuters on how advertising can be more representative,
- and, to start with, we’re taking a look at the creation of new technologies which make our world more accessible.
Building on and supporting MadeAtUni
UK universities are at the forefront of some of the most exciting discoveries and pioneering changes of the last century but many people think that all they do is teach. That's why universities across the UK joined forces through the MadeAtUni campaign, to bring to life the impact of universities on people, lives and communities.
MadeAtUni showcases UCL's breakthrough research on treatments for leukaemia and aggressive cancers. For more info, read UCL's news story.
Now underway - new UCL East campus
UCL East will be home to new degree programmes, research, innovation and technologies from across eight faculties – uniting academic activities across Experiments, Arts, Society & Technology (EAST). Through 11 academic entities across two buildings, we will continue to break down traditional barriers between teaching, research and public engagement.
Through our new campus, UCL is proud to be part of East Bank, a new destination for London with world-class culture and education at its heart, together with the BBC, Sadler’s Wells, London College of Fashion and the V&A.
