New postgraduate study spaces in our Senate House and Graduate Hubs

Senate House Hub

UPDATE, May 2024: The Senate House Hub is now permanently closed.

With a capacity of 181 spaces, this space is for Post Graduate Research Students and a Centre for Doctorial Training Students. The hub comprises of:

• Bookable study rooms, with AV;
• A bookable training room for up to 20 students, with AV;
• Quiet study rooms with desktop power;
• Rest and relaxation chairs with laptop tables.

The space also contains individual study pods and four group study pods, which has space for four students each and these also have AV equipment available.

Graduate Hub

With a capacity of 73, the Graduate Hub is a space for graduates to meet and relax in a purposeful environment on central campus. Facilities include:

• A seminar room for group discussion for up to 24 people, or individual bookable desks for smaller groups;
• A breakout space with kitchenette (microwaves, refrigerators, kettle, hot water);
• A large study room with individual study pods and large study desk;
• Two large relaxation chairs;
• 15 PCs.

All desks have power and USB outlets.
