The library is your gateway to the resources and sources of information you need to inform and support your studies or research. Library research skills enable you to find, evaluate, organise and cite information effectively and are critical to your academic success.

In this live online session, we will present an overview of the library research process and the skills you need to undertake the process. We will direct you to guidance, training and support available for you to refresh or enhance these skills.

By the end of the session you will:

  • have been reminded of the steps in the library research process;
  • be aware of the skills required to undertake library research and have identified areas for your own skill development;
  • know how to find guidance, training and support for developing library research skills at UCL.

This event is aimed at postgraduate students who may wish to refresh or enhance their library research skills.
