Staff of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust can access a comprehensive collection of databases with their NHS OpenAthens account. These include MEDLINE, EMBASE, and EMCARE. This course demonstrates access to the databases using the OvidSP platform and covers:

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • understand the databases that are available through OvidS
  • construct an effective search strategy
  • search databases effectively using OvidSP
  • save and export results
