The session will be very useful for those embarking upon further education courses or for those who want an evidence refresher. The session explores the relationships between different types of evidence and how to access them.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • understanding how evidence relates to the ‘hierarchy of evidence
  • understand the importance of databases and how to access them
  • understand how to access full-text journal articles
  • explain the relationships that exist between guidelines, point-of-care-tools, systematic reviews, and journal articles
