Who is eligible to attend?
UCL staff and students and UCLH staff are eligible to
attend. You must be registered with UCL Library Services. While
attendees are welcome from across UCL and UCLH, please note that this
course focuses on topics relevant to the neurology setting.

that courses may be cancelled at short notice if too few bookings are
received; we will send you an email shortly before the course date to
confirm your place.
Course outline:
This session aims to give you the ability to carry out a
literature search on PubMed effectively and find articles and evidence
to help answer your research questions. By the end of the session you
will be able to:
- Run an effective literature search independently
- Understand what MeSH terms are and why they are used
- Understand the importance of the 'Details' link
- Filter out evidence based literature
- Print, save and email your references
- Save your search
- Take advantage of features of the PubMed site

Due to the nature of this course, participants arriving more than 15 minutes after the published start time will not be permitted to join the session.
