Who is eligible to attend?
UCL staff and students and UCLH staff are eligible to
attend. You must be registered with UCL Library Services. While
attendees are welcome from across UCL and UCLH, please note that this
course focuses on topics relevant to the neurology setting.

Course outline:
This session aims to give you the ability to carry out a
literature search using OvidSP databases effectively and find articles
and evidence to help answer your research questions. Please note the
session has a biomedical focus and covers only Medline, Embase and
PsycINFO. By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Run an effective literature search
- Understand what MeSH terms are and how to use them
- Print, save and email your references
- Save your search
Please note:
Due to the nature of this course, participants arriving more than 15 minutes after the published start time will not be permitted to join the session.
