What we offer

We have many libraries, in Bloomsbury and beyond with over 2 million print books covering a wide range of subjects, including rare books and extensive archives in our Special Collections. We also have access to over 1,000,000 e-books and other types of resource such as newspapers and streaming services, and our online reading lists enable you to read course texts wherever you are.
We will support your skills development throughout your degree, and we deliver training online or face-to-face as part of your academic programme, and through our LibrarySkills@UCL scheduled programme and online training materials.

Anyone who hopes to study at UCL is welcome to visit and use our libraries on a short term basis, and for details of how to register in advance see our prospective students membership web page.

Before you arrive, you can read all about us and start your learning journey with our pre-arrival guide.
