Notification
Data protection legislation requires UCL to inform the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) about all the purposes for which it processes personal data. This is known as notification. The notification period is valid for one year.
If you intend to use personal data for a purpose which is not covered by our notification, please notify the Data Protection team immediately as it is an offence not to keep the register up to date.
