There were three men named John Rodon active in Jamaica in the early 19th century: the Hon. John Rodon (d. c. 1808); John Rodon the younger (1816-); and this man John Rodon (-1861), son of George Rodon (q.v.) and father of Ann Mitchell Isaacson formerly Lovell (q.v.) and of John Rodon the younger. John Rodon (d. 1861) was in London in the 1830s, when he was described as of Manchester Square and of the City of London.
