Biography

Eldest son of Sir John Young of Leny (1648-) and his wife Katherie nee Toshaw. Born before 1690. "Engaged in the Jacobite rising of 1715, when his estate was confiscated, and he retired to the West Indies, where he m. Margaret Nauton [sic - Nanton], of Antigua". His estate Old Road in Antigua was inherited by his only child, Sir William Young.
