UCL Laws announces academic promotions for 2020-21

UCL Laws is delighted to announce the Senior Academic and Teaching Promotions for 2020-21.

UCL Faculty of Laws staff at the Main Quad

UCL Faculty of Laws would like to congratulate our colleagues on the following academic promotions, effective 1 October 2021:

Dr Ilanah Fhima is promoted to Professor of Intellectual Property Law.

Dr Rob George is promoted to Professor of Law and Policy.

Dr Myriam Hunter-Henin is promoted to Professor of Comparative Law and Religion.

Dr Silvia Suteu is promoted to Associate Professor.

Dr Michael Veale is promoted to Associate Professor.

Rachel Knowles is promoted to Associate Professor (Teaching).

Professor Steven Vaughan, Vice-Dean (Staffing) at UCL Laws, commented:

"It gives me enormous pleasure to see this group of colleagues promoted this year. These richly-deserved promotions are an acknowledgement of the significant and sustained contributions of each promoted colleague to the Faculty and to UCL, to a range of communities outside of academia, and to the study and teaching of law. We are very proud of their achievements and very grateful that they are part of our UCL Laws community."
