Microsoft are reporting issues for users of a range of O365 services

Update 8.50am, 26 January 2022

The issue with Microsoft Services (O365) has now been resolved. Apologies for the disruption this has caused. Preliminary root cause: A wide-area networking (WAN) routing change resulted in users being unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.

Update 11:30am, 25 January 2023

Microsoft have identified a change they made to their systems which they have now removed. Some previously affected users are reporting that services have got better. Please do report any issues to the IT Services help desk.

Apologies for the disruption this has caused many of you today. We will provide a further update soon.

Microsoft status message states:

Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services but not all users are affected

We've received reports that the following services are impacted:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Exchange Online
  • Outlook
  • SharePoint Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Microsoft Graph

We will provide an update once we have any further information from Microsoft.
