Summary: Louise contacted us in September 2018 seeking guidance on increasing storage of her team's N and S drives for their anonymised data. I provided guidance relevant to their need and suggested use of the Research Data Storage Service. Louise applied for that and they began using it about 2 weeks later. I organised a Researchers drop-in at the Institute in the 2nd week of October and we met there. Louise said she was happy with using RDS.

I needed more room to store the large amount of data (mostly images from microscopes) produced in my project.

Make it clear to people who request more space on N: and S: drives that the Research Data Storage Service is available and can be used easily.
