Desktop@UCL for staff: Installing/removing apps on a Anywhere desktop (thin client solution)

This guide shows you how to install or remove apps on a Desktop @ UCL Anywhere thin client machine

This guide is aimed at

  • Staff

Before you start...

You will require a Desktop @ UCL Anywhere machine connected to the UCL network.

Installing applications

As all your information is centrally managed, there is no need to install Apps to your machine. They should be available from your Start menu under Programmes. You should see an A-Z of available applications available to choose from.

Removing applications

The applications available from your desktop will always be there as standard, so there’s no need to remove them. They do not affect your computers performance.
