To maintain awareness of developments relating to systems, policies and best practice in research management and research operations within UCL and across the HE sector.
To act on the above to oversee IT systems and applications development strategy relating to research management and research operations at UCL.
To sponsor, champion, develop and/or contribute to costed proposals for investment in the above area through the annual capital programme.
Receive reports from projects and respond to escalation requests.
To request the Minutes of UCL Committees and Working Groups as appropriate to inform its discussions.
To sustain effective communication with Committees and Working Groups in UCL as appropriate by the submission to the latter of its Minutes.
To make regular reports to RIISG, and as requested by the RIISG Chair.

The group meets once per term for 2 hours.
