About the role

The Senior Finance and Research Administrator is a key member of the Finance and Research Team, responsible for delivering an efficient and effective day-to-day finance and research administration service at the Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO).

About you

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have significant experience in Higher Education or a similar environment, the Senior Finance & Research Administrator should have substantial experience in pre- and post-award research grant administration, including knowledge of research funding processes in an academic environment.

The postholder will have experience in financial accounting with the ability to prepare and co-ordinate accurate reports, budgets and recommendations.
