UCL IoO-funded PhD Student wins poster prize

Congratulations to Clara Gathmann for winning the poster prize at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC)'s Medicinal Chemistry Summer school.
The Royal Society of Chemistry Medicinal Chemistry Summer School covers topics of interest to drug discovery researchers, helping to increase understanding of the factors governing modern drug discovery from the initial concept through to translational science and intellectual property. Established since 1981, the Summer School has trained many of the world’s leading medicinal chemists working in the pharmaceutical industry and academic research institute.
The 2022 edition was a week-long event including lectures, case studies and workshops tailored for chemists, and focussing on how to take drugs from a hit to clinical trials. Attendees were a mix between industry people and academics. The support Clara Gathmann received from our institute allowed her to attend the Medicinal Chemistry School conference where she was awarded the poster prize.
