New Clinical Research Fellow in Ocular Biology and Therapeutics at the IoO

The IoO is seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to be part of the Ocular Genomics and Therapeutics Lab at the IoO.

Job Details

The main aim of this research project is to robustly establish the natural history of several inherited retinal diseases utilising our unique patient base and investigational facilities. This will be in preparation for developing outcome metrics for potential gene therapy.

This post is funded for 1 year in the first instance.

Key Requirements

Essential criteria include BSc or MBBS, candidates should have completed at least two years of clinical training in ophthalmology in an approved post (ST3+ or equivalent), must be organized, hard-working, have good general ophthalmology and computer IT skills. They should have previous evidence of peer-reviewed original research articles.
