Executive Assistant to NIHR Moorfields BRC Director at the IoO

The IoO is seeking an Executive Assistant to the NIHR Moorfields BRC Director, Prof Sir Peng Tee Khaw.

Job Details

The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive, high-quality professional executive and administrative support to one of the Institute’s leading members of senior academic staff, Prof Sir Peng Tee Khaw (PTK) in his role as the Director of the NIHR Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).

This includes managing PTK’s complex diary and all incoming and outgoing correspondence (verbal, paper and electronic), arranging and servicing meetings and events, liaising with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, making travel and related itinerary arrangements, and other administrative support.

This post is funded until 30 November 2022 in the first instance with the possibility of extension. Post is jointly funded by the British Research Council and UCL.

Key Requirements

The post-holder will have a first degree or have equivalent relevant experience. They will have experience of working in a senior administrative or EA role, managing a busy and complex diary, experience of working in a busy office environment, with good administrative skills and an organised and flexible approach to work. In addition we would expect them to have experience of working independently  and managing priorities whilst also being an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
