Research Engagement Assistant

Applications are invited for a Research Engagement Assistant to be part of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MEH) and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO).
Job details
The post offers an exciting opportunity for someone to play a key role within the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Team reporting to the PPIE Lead, Dr Helen Baker.
This post is until 30 November 2022 in the first instance.
Key requirements
Whilst experience in science or ophthalmology would be advantageous, full training can be provided where necessary, thus candidates possessing the necessary background skills with an aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
The post would suit a person wishing to develop a career in patient and public involvement and/or engagement. Candidates should be bright, independent and highly motivated, but willing and able to work effectively as part of a team.
