Institute of Ophthalmology posters win UCL Doctoral School prizes

On 1st and 2nd March, UCL Doctoral School ran a Research Poster Competition which offered graduate students an opportunity to meet, advertise and discuss the innovative research they are undertaking, thereby providing them with an opportunity to raise the profile of their research. 225 students registered this year and 2 of our doctoral candidates won prizes.
The exhibition attracted interest among academics and other graduate students. We are delighted that two of the IO submissions won prizes. Congratulations to Senthil Selvam who presented "Can systemic inflammation prevent ischaemic retinopathy?" and Hongorzul Davaapil for the poster on "Proteoglycan PRELP and Blood Brain Barrier Maintenance"
