Institute knitting group win Communicating Research Competition with a knitted retina

Congratulations to the Institute knitting group whose ‘Knitted Retina’ scooped the overall winner’s prize for the Communicating Research Competition held by the NIHR Moorfields BRC. The group donated the retina to Moorfields Eye Hospital where it is now on permanent display in the Medical Retina Clinic on the lower ground floor.
