Hellos and Goodbyes
25 April 2016
We would like to welcome a number of new staff and recognise the contribution made by two long standing members of academic staff who have recently left the Institute.
Prof Tom Salt joined the Institute in 1989 and was promoted to Professor of Visual Science 10 years later. Over that period Tom has developed a strong research programme in Visual Neuroscience, making a number of notable contributions to the field and taught on several UCL programmes. We wish Tom a happy retirement and look forward to seeing him in his Emeritus role.
Dr R Beau Lotto left the Institute of Ophthalmology in April having spent 15 years in the Department of Visual Neuroscience. Beau contributed to research in a number of areas, including bee vision and human visual perception. More recently Beau has aimed to blur the boundaries between neuroscience and the arts which included involving the public in experiments conducted at the Science Museum.
The following staff have joined, or in some cases re-joined the Institute in the last four months and we would like to welcome them to Bath St:
|Dr||Maria||Mondragon Jaramillo||Research Associate|
