Session details

This session will provide a background on the topic of research data management and related issues such as open research and data protection.

The first half of the session will explain all the necessary background knowledge on the topic.

The second is a practical and interactive workshop where we will walk you through writing your own data management plan to support a research funding application. Whether you have an upcoming grant submission deadline or just want to get some practice at writing a data management plan this course is for you.

Aimed at all researchers at all levels including PhD and MRes students who wish to further their knowledge of research data management with a view to writing a data management plan in-line with best practice, UCL and funders’ expectations.

This session will take place in the Library Training Room, UCL Joint Library of Ophthalmology.
