The UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IOO) was founded in 1948 and will be celebrating 70 years of world-leading research in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH). In order to mark this occasion and the great achievements accomplished, we are holding 70th anniversary symposium at the British Library on 28th June 2018.

Institute of Ophthalomology 70th Anniversary Symposium
The theme of the symposium is Past, Present and Future, to celebrate past achievements, current developments and the future of ophthalmic research, inspiring the next generation of clinicians and researchers.
The symposium will bring together world-expert academics, researchers, clinicians, students and trainees from both IOO and MEH, representing a full range of specialties within the field of ophthalmology. As well as celebrating the history and future of the IoO the event will be an exciting occasion to promote translational research and assist in establishing new opportunities for collaborations.
