Regional income differences and intergenerational income mobility
Join this event to hear Erik Liss talk about the effect of regional income differences on intergenerational income persistence measured as intergenerational income elasticity using Swedish register data.

Erik will draw on his research to explore findings which shows that the average worker affects more than regional wage premiums contribute to persisting regional income persistence across birth regions, in line with previous literature pointing to skill biased technological change.
This event will be particularly useful for those interested in intergenerational income mobility.
