I’m a journals Managing Editor at Routledge, Taylor & Francis and a PhD candidate at UCL’s Centre for Publishing in the Department of Information Studies.

Research summary

The focus of my research is the role that non-Chinese academic publishers play in constraining the availability of English-language scholarly content in China. My primary research includes surveys and interviews with journal authors, editors, and publishing professionals. I’m also experimenting with quantitative methods, such as text mining and sentiment analysis, to understand the impacts of removing English-language journal articles from publisher platforms in China.
