Turin: Diabetes Mellitus

In Turin, there were 3,271 deaths from diabetes mellitus over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 1,280 male deaths and 1,991 female deaths and is based on data from the Turin Mortality Registry.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to diabetes mellitus in Turin is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
