Turin: Cerebrovascular Disease

In Turin, there were 15,123 deaths from cerebrovascular disease (diseases associated with the blood vessels supplying the brain) over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 5,970 male deaths and 9,153 female deaths and is based on data from the Turin Mortality Registry.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to cerebrovascular disease in Turin is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
