Marinos Charalambides holds a PhD degree in Network Management, an MSc in Communications Networks and Software (Distinction), and a BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours), all from the University of Surrey, UK. He is currently a senior researcher at University College London, and prior to that he was a researcher at Surrey University.
Since 2003 he has been working on key research challenges in the area of network and service management and has published a number of high quality journal and conference papers. His research interests focus on network programmability, adaptive resource management, content distribution, and network monitoring. He has contributed to several European and UK national research projects, and he is on the technical program committees of the main network and service management conferences.
Dr Charalambides was the recipient of the IEEE NSM Young Professional Award in 2016 for outstanding research contributions and leadership in the field of network and service management, he is on the editorial board of IEEE TNSM, and he was the lead TPC co-chair of the 2017 IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management.
