Learning Innovation Manager

What is your role and what does it involve?

There are many elements to being a Learning Innovation Manager which I am excited to discover. A large part of my role and the L & D team, in general, will be to introduce new training offerings and types of learning to the UCL community.

How long have you been at UCL?

Just over a month.

What attracted you to UCL?

The fact that it is such a large organisation so there is a wider scope to make a difference.

What and where was your previous role?

Professional Mentoring Leader at City, University of London.

What working achievement or initiative at UCL (or in previous work experiences) are you most proud of?

I am proud of having made a developmental impact on more than 8,000 people by facilitating mentoring relationships focused on employability and personal growth.

Describe UCL in three words.

Blockbuster, Beacon, Powerhouse.

What is the best aspect about working at UCL?

I am excited to find out in due course but everyone I have met seems talented and committed to their work.

What are your future career aspirations?

Mayor of London….. only joking - bringing about change to people’s lives and developing people on a large scale.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Act, host parties, watch fantasy shows, volunteer and enjoy being with my family and friends.
