Grading Procedure for Professional Services Jobs

The grading process for new and existing professional services jobs.


Professional services jobs are placed in a grade on the basis of the duties and responsibilities that are required to be undertaken by UCL. All professional services jobs at UCL are graded in accordance with the Higher Education Role Analysis (HERA) scheme.  If a new job is created, it should be graded in accordance with this procedure.

For a professional services job to be re-graded, it will be considered in line with this procedure where there is a significant change in the job’s duties and responsibilities.
