Professor Claire Carmalt, Head of Department (UCL Chemistry) commented:
"The Staff Survey has provided useful feedback to help us raise awareness to preventing harassment and bullying. Since the last survey we have been running ‘where do you draw the line’ workshops within the department. Although the department is considered friendly and inclusive we became aware that people can interpret behaviours in different ways, for example thoughtless comments to one person may be deeply offensive to another. These workshops have helped us to address this and has encouraged a better working environment for all."
