UCL History’s LGBTQ+ Staff/Student Network is proud to host this roundtable, exploring the experience of LGBTQ+ students at London universities and the histories of student activism around LGBTQ+ issues and HIV/AIDS. Our speakers will talk about:
- Bob Mills – Bob will speak to his involvement in UCL’s Queer Tapestry project, interviewing LGBTQ+ UCL alumni
- Savi Hensman – activist and writer Savi Hensman will speak to her experience as a UCL alumna.
- Jeffrey Weeks – Jeffrey Weeks will speak to his experience as a UCL alumnus and student and as an activist in other London universities.
- Luciano Rila – Luciano will speak about his research into history of UCL gaysocs.
- George Severs –George will speak about his research into HIV/AIDS activism.
