Then sign up for PESP: Making the Theory relevant.
This free online training course focuses on developing the communication and presentation skills of UCL postgraduate students in Heritage Science, with a particular focus on public groups. This course is for researchers at UCL who want to embed public engagement into their work. This interactive session will give you the basics of planning your engagement, evaluating your projects and learning more about why we engage – with the chance to ask questions of experienced individuals in the field. The overall learning outcomes of PESP are to - Increase skills, knowledge and confidence in: Creating and enabling public engagement activity, Sharing knowledge and experience of public engagement, Applying for funding to support engagement, Creating external networks with relevant individuals, communities and organisations.
