UCL ranks the top 10 globally for 12 years running, recognised for the strength of its international research network for the second year running, earning the second position globally.

UCL has once again been ranked among the top 10 universities in the world, maintaining its position for the 12th consecutive year in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. The university now holds the ninth spot, placing it in the top 1% of assessed institutions. The rankings are compiled by QS, a widely consulted international ranking organisation, using various indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty and student ratios, and international diversity.

UCL has also been recognised for the strength of its international research network for the second year running, earning the second position globally.
