A new project to develop assistive technologies for people with disabilities in India

The Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub) at UCL has announced a new collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology to support disability inclusion.

The collaboration will focus on developing new assistive technologies (AT) and driving knowledge across different markets.

The GDI Hub will also join forces with other organisations to explore the impact of smartphones on the lives of people with visual or hearing impairments.

The collaboration is part of the GDI Hub's mission to increase access to AT globally.
