Topic: Launch event of UCL Cities Partnerships Programme with Stockholm, around the start of the Horizon Europe funding programme. Using the launch of the EU’s key funding stream for research and innovation as the occasion to gather the Cities Partnerships Programme’s partners and articulate the Programme’s aims over the next three years.
Aims: High level launch of the Cities Partnership Programme (CPP) Stockholm and Horizon Europe; clarify UK eligibility in Horizon Europe; profile local researchers and innovators (industry); profile the city research and innovation ecosystems; encourage networking (digital networking in the pandemic/post-pandemic world).
By convening the four academic institutions, University College London (UCL), The Stockholm Trio (Karolinska Institutet (KI), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm University (SU) with other bodies, the targeted approach of the CPP (a strategic global initiative by UCL) will build on these achievements and create sustainable, productive relationships dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge from 2020-3.
