UCL Qatar graduation 2017

Students of UCL Qatar, representing 23 nationalities and speaking 14 different languages, were recently awarded their diplomas by the UCL Vice-Provost (Education and Student Affairs).

A total of 34 students of UCL Qatar, representing 23 nationalities and speaking 14 different languages, were recently awarded their diplomas by UCL Vice-Provost (Education and Student Affairs) Professor Anthony Smith.

During the ceremony the students - more than 80% of whom were women - heard from speakers including Professor Ijeoma Uchegbu (UCL Pro-Vice-Provost Africa & Middle East), their peers and past graduates.

The ceremony was attended by HH the Father Emir, who watched his daughter Dana bint Hamad Al Thani receive her Masters in Museum and Gallery Practice.

At the graduation, UCL awarded four degrees in MA Archaeology of the Arab and Islamic World; seven in MA Library and Information Studies; 11 in MA Museum and Gallery Practice; eight in MSC Conservation Studies and four diplomas in Academic Research and Methods.
