Professor Monica Lakhanpaul used a Global Engagement Office-led visit to India to forge new connections both within UCL and beyond, as well as Global Engagement Funds to shape her own research direction.
She and Professor Marie Lall (Pro-Vice-Provost South Asia) and Dr Priti Parikh (UCL Engineering) formed a new interdisciplinary collaboration working with a variety of partners in India to come up with new, community-led solutions to the problem of child malnutrition in rural areas.
