Translation Studies MA / MSc

We offer two Masters programmes, MA Translation and MSc Translation and Technology, both of which give you the opportunity to develop translation and language skills.

Both programmes have a number of routes structured in such a way as to enable you to focus on your chosen specialism.

The MA Translation is open to students with any language combination, though please note that some of the specialist optional modules are only available to students with specific language pairs. Please click into the module descriptions via the links below for further details. IMPORTANT: We are opening English-Ukraine strands on some of our optional modules in September 2023. Open Evening for the MA / MSc in Translation at CenTraS@UCL. Places are still available for students specialising in European languages (now including Ukrainian), as well as Arabic, Japanese, Russian and Korean.
