Dr Azzedine Haddour awarded Leverhulme Research Fellowship 2020

1 April 2020

Dr Azzedine Haddour

We are delighted to announce that Dr Azzedine Haddour (School of European Languages, Culture and Society) has been awarded the prestigious Leverhulme Research Fellowship 2020, following full consideration by the Research Awards Advisory Committee for The Leverhulme Trust.

Dr Haddour will be using the Fellowship to conduct his research project, “Frantz Fanon: Gender, Torture and the Biopolitics of Colonialism”. The project focuses on Frantz Fanon’s work, contextualizing it and linking it to current thinking in postcolonial studies, engaging with the interplay of colonial propaganda and gender politics.

We are sending our heartfelt congratulations to Dr Haddour for this success and we look forward to learning more about his research in the future.
