PGTA job opportunities for UG Teaching in European and International Social and Political Studies

EISPS is looking to appoint two Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (PGTAs) for the 2022-23 academic year, to support its undergraduate teaching.

PGTAs will teach tutorial groups for the first-year core module ESPS0001 Introduction to History, Law, Politics and Philosophy. We are specifically looking for PGTAs to teach on the following segments on 1) Political Ideology (term 1) 2) Political Economy (term 2). Each segment is 2-3 weeks. There are six tutorial groups which are timetabled to take place on Fridays.

Some PGTAs may be required to assist the module leaders mark student assessments (full guidance will be provided). All PGTAs will be required to attend the Arena One introductory Gateway Workshop and will also have the opportunity to work towards a nationally recognised teaching award.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in a research degree programme at UCL.
