Manqi Wang

Manqi Wang

Manqi is a PhD candidate at the Bartlett School of Planning. Her research focuses on the transformation of urban redevelopment in post-reform China based on the theoretical framework of property-led redevelopment and gentrification. She has published articles (both in English and Chinese) on academic journals. Manqi got her master degree MSc International Planning from UCL in 2017. Before returning to UCL for pursuing a PhD in Planning Studies, she worked as an urban planner (intern) at the Urban Renewal Bureau in Guangzhou and ICMA in Washington, D.C.
